As the year wrapped up, the shooter game category on Android devices in Australia demonstrated notable trends. This analysis, powered by Sensor Tower, outlines the performance of the top five shooter games during Q4 2023.

PUBG MOBILE, published by Level Infinite, continued to be a strong contender in the market. The game saw an increase in weekly revenue, climbing from $34K to $44K, with a peak at nearly $48K in early December. Downloads showed a significant spike in the latter part of the quarter, jumping from 2K to over 4K, while weekly active users rose from 20K to nearly 25K.

Another title, Camo Sniper from Supersonic Studios LTD, experienced a fluctuating download count, peaking at over 4K downloads in early October and ending the quarter with 3K. The weekly active user base peaked at 6.9K in mid-October and saw a year-end increase to around 4.3K.

Activision Publishing, Inc.'s Call of Duty: Mobile Season 2 showcased solid revenue growth, starting at $33K and reaching over $56K in mid-December before settling at $50K. Downloads saw an uptick towards the end of the quarter, reaching 2.8K from an early quarter low of 1.4K. Active users remained fairly stable, ending the quarter with 20K users.

For MiniCraft Village, despite having no revenue for most of the quarter, the last two weeks showed a slight earning of $46 and $39 respectively. The game's downloads hovered around 1.4K to 2.3K, while active users showed a modest increase from 3.4K to 4.2K.

Lastly, Pure Sniper: Gun Shooter Games by Miniclip.com earned between $1.2K to $1.6K weekly. The game's downloads varied, with a noticeable dip to 752 in mid-October, but recovered to 1.6K by the end of December. Active users saw a decline from 5.5K to around 4.1K.
